Chuquicamata � Chile :

Chuquicamata, located in Chile, is a open copper pit mine, over over 850 meters deep, is also the largest total production of copper in the world



Udachnaya Pipe � Russia :

Udachnaya Pipe, located in Russia, is a diamond mine which was discovered in the year 1955. The mine is over 600 meters deep.



Sinkhole � Guatemala:

The Sinkhole, 300 foot deep, is one of the notable holes in the history, as the hole in the year 2007 swallowed  a dozen homes in Guatemala, which killed 2 and causing thousands to be evacuated. The sinkhole was caused by rain and by sewage flow.



Diavik Mine � Canada:

Diavik Mine, which produces 8 million carats or about 1,600 kg (3,500 lb) of diamonds every year, is located in the Northwest territories of Canada.
